Correcting BlackBerry filter issue
If you are experiencing errors or the device hangs on activation when attempting to activate, please perform the following steps: 1. Log into Outlook Web Access: https://owa.syncmymail.com
2. Go to the Junk e-mail folder and look for a RIM activation e-mail message
If you see any messages from RIM similar to the above example in your junk e-mail folder, please delete the message(s). Next, select the 'Deleted Items' folder and permanently delete the RIM message(s) from your mailbox. 3. Go to Options -> Junk e-mail -> Select 'Do not filter junk e-mail' -> Save
4. After saving your Junk e-mail settings re-attempt to activate your BlackBerry device. If you still encounter trouble please contact SyncMyMail technical support. 5. After the activation has completed you can re-enable anti-spam by going back to Options -> Junk e-mail -> Select Automatically filter junk e-mail -> Save |
